The war crimes and deliberate breaches of the Geneva Convention by the IDF revealed.

Gaza: ICRC demands urgent access to wounded as Israeli army fails to assist wounded Palestinians (Press release full text)

"The ICRC had requested safe passage for ambulances to access this neighbourhood (in Zeitoun, southeast of Gaza City) , since 3rd January but it only received permission to do so from the Israel Defense Forces during the afternoon of 7th January.

The ICRC/PRCS team found four small children next to their dead mothers in one of the houses. They were too weak to stand up on their own.

One man was also found alive, too weak to stand up. In all there were at least 12 corpses lying on mattresses. In another house, the ICRC/PRCS rescue team found 15 other survivors of this attack including several wounded.

In yet another house, they found an additional three corpses. Israeli soldiers posted at a military position some 80 meters away from this house ordered the rescue team to leave the area which they refused to do.

There were several other positions of the Israel Defense Forces nearby as well as two tanks. "

In an interview on Sky TV (NO text or video available at this time) it was explained by the ICRC representative that they had tried to get access with ambulances.

The IDF refused access and they had eventuually to walk 1 KM and faund the above scenes.

The IDF refused help but found them a donkey cart to evacuate the bodies and the survivors. theICRC evacuated 18 wounded and 12 others who were extremely exhausted. Two corpses were also evacuated. The ICRC/PRCS were due to recover the remaining corpses today.

The wounded and sick, as well as the infirm, and expectant mothers, shall be the object of particular protection and respect.

etc., etc.,

Mr Regev , the smirking, supercilious lothasome Israeli Government front man was interviewed by Channel 4 and raised all sorts of puerile obfuscation. He was anxious tio imply that it was acruel hamas trick to use them in this way - with IDF troops within metres. The man is sick or deranged. Whatever his medical condition it would be nice to see him at the ICC for compounding war crimes committed by his superiors.

You have to ask yourself how the young men ( we vas only obeyink orders) deprived of their mobile phones and contact outside can cope with these monstrous crimes - how in klater years they will manage to cope with the guilt.

It is time to start building Vad Yashem II, chronicling the genocide, rape, murder, of a country and a people.
