Back in 2004, while running for the U.S. Senate, he declared that while "launching some missile strikes into Iran is not the optimal position for us to be in, having a radical Muslim theocracy in possession of nuclear weapons is worse."He added, "There are elements within Pakistan right now - if Musharraf is overthrown and they took over, I think we would have to consider going in and taking those bombs out."In a sabre rattling speech the Senator warned that he would use American forces to invade U.S. ally Pakistan if its leaders weren't doing enough to catch terrorists on their soil.
