U.S. officials say rumor of Iran strike not true MSNBC

WASHINGTON - U.S. defense officials on Thursday said a rumored Iranian missile strike on a U.S. naval vessel in the Gulf was not true.

"No such event took place," said one of the officials on condition of anonymity.

...and of course no-one was killed at Camp Falcon .....

"Before open-outcry trading (on NYMEX) began at 10 a.m. EST, prices popped up as high as $52.69 on a rumored Iranian strike on a U.S.But the market calmed as soon as the Pentagon denied the rumor."
