Improvised Explosive Devices - breaking a State Monopoly
There is much talk of IED's , they kill soldiers in Baghdad, they kill soldiers in Basra and the roads in between. They kill soldiers in Afghanistan.
Now some guys have been making them in High Wycombe.
WTF is "improvised" ? - it's an explosive device or it isn't. Improvised - does that mean it hasn't been made by Grumman-Northrop, Raytheon , British Aerospace ?
With the rate of explosive sucess of those cluster bombs in Lebanon chucked about with so much ill will by the IDF they look prettty fucking improvised to me.
... and to the kid seen on TV last night whose legs had been blown off by one since the "cease fire" he didn't seem to give a FF whether they were improvised or not.
What's wrong with the media ? Let's call them BOMBS - it's a business with a State Monopoly.

On the subject of bombs and weapons of mass distraction, Birmingham Airport have announced a ban on passengers wearing gel-filled bras. It's unlcear whether this applies to men as well as women...
I have heard of, but have no firm evidence of silicone filled bags used as prostheses for breast enhancement exploding in airplanes.
Women who have had mastectomies regularly wear bras with gel pockets.
I think women have other places they can (and drug mules regularly do) conceal fairly substantial items.
But let's get reak, terrorists do not use DIY bombs, they use mil. explosive which is easily obtained, at a modest cost.
These Wannabes may mave murder in their hearts but not within their compass, they are amateurs using the internet, mobile phones, net cafes, infiltrated by MI5/6 even Plod.
The folks who have planned , organised and pulled off 7/7 over a lengthy period have disappeared without trace.
...and they were not the 4 guys who disappeared on the day.
