An Israeli air strike today landed between two vehicles, one carrying militants from al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and another militants from Islamic Jihad
The Israeli army said it had been targeting militants who were en route to a rocket launch pad near the northern Gaza town of Beit Hanoun.

Here's an interesting guess.
Do you think the Nazis ever used airstrikes against the French Resistance?
To me, airstrikes against an insurgency seem _most_ fuct.

On the media and footage and world sympathy.
The one time they had video of the Israeli missile hitting the car (2003?) they did show it on US news stations, quite a few times. It was compelling footage.
There are far more cameras in rich places.
